Bandana’s made by hair/clothing designers, content creators, and your fellow residents! Bandanas are $50L each, and 100% benefit the charity. Bandana Day is July 15th, the last day of the fair, the day we take off our hair, wear a bandana to show our support to those effected by hair loss because of illness. Bandana booths are located all over the fair. All bandanas are unique, one of a kind, limited edition available only while the fair is on. Hair Fair 2011 – Bandana Day

My first experience with Hair Fair was Bandana Day. In 2007 Six Kennedy asked me to be the one that organised it, when I went to her suggesting it as an idea. I never i8magined what it would do, how people would embrace it, and yet every year people come forward from all over SL wanting to create one, or letting us know that they have sent their whole group over, held events wearing them and so on.

This years mix of bandanas is as awesome as years previous, there are RP themed ones, beach themed ones, fun retro ones, and very glamorous ones. Today is the day that we remove our hair to show we care. A day without hair to show some support to those that have lost, or are losing their hair to illness, not a lot to ask for, and it is just your avatar that does it. Mind you some have actually cut hair in past years and sent to charity to help in that way also.

Many over the years collect the bandanas and wear them to other laggy events, I see them often through the year, and cannot help but be proud that it is Hair Fair that provided that oppurtunity. Also the are transferable, so you can buy many and share with friends, or pass to others when it is laggy. Whatever you do, or are doing, or have done, this year so far the bandanas have raised over a Hundred Thousand Lindens and as they sell for only 50L each, that is awesome.

So whether you wear them today, or in the future, just be sure to buy some, because they are only available at the Fair, and if you haven’t looked yet, you may find out that someone you know made one…don’t want to miss out on that.

Also not wanting to miss out on is the Second Hair Fair Flickr Contest. It ends tomorrow but the access to the fair ends tonight at Midnight, which is only 14 hours to go. The contest prizes are amazing, and if you already have the pro we can add the time on, so don’t not enter because of that – some have asked.

Zaara Jeans with [kik]

Zaara just released an updated version of her classic jeans. I love her classic jeans so this was a real treat! They include 4 styles of cuffs and not a seam to see, they wore perfectly, and were well textured. Available in eight colors. My shirt is the Gathered Frills shirt from Mon Tissu, I love the frills down the front of the shirt, and its available on all layers, with the jacket layer wearing nicely over with hem. I’ve accessorized with some favorite jewelry and shoes of mine. My hair is currently while this blog post is current (July 15 2011) only available at Hair Fair 2011 *, from [kik] is a great messy side swept hair style. After today it will be available at their store.

Hair Fair 2011 – Enigma

Enigma released three hairstyles at Hair Fair 2011, all of them long tresses! Shown here is Georgiana. This style features a beautifully done braid down the back. It’s stunning. This style comes with additional bangs, and a color change hud that allows you to easily change textures. Her other two styles are the same length, one featuring a hair ornament, and another that descends into softly done spiral curls. I had originally planned to do a post for each shop at the hair fair but, I got too many things to write about and it ends today. So get over there while you can. The lag has probably settled down by now. I will be posting more styles even after the Hair Fair is over. As I am sure the new releases will become available at each store as well. Here are my other favorites that I got!

BC322 has the perfect hair for those quirky personalities. I have fallen in love with many of their older styles. I stumbled onto this gem of a shop while looking for their lucky board. I enjoyed wearing Shelly by Sugarsmack a lot. The honey biscotti color worked so well with the Mother Goose skin and the resizer was a blessing to me. I always thought that side styles gave my pudgy face a cuter look overall. What do you think? Hmmm… The textures are so delicious!

Slink‘s fabulous styles just shut me right up. I want to wear them all and I will. The textures used are just scrumptious but, what do I know? Just as a reminder you only have until the 16th to wrap up all of your hair fair shopping. This particular hair is from kik which is a great deal at only 200L I love how messy it looks and think it works great in photos.

For this post I am wearing the brand spanking new bikini from the Seahole which comes with fabulous accessories such as these sunglasses and handbag and there is even some make up and stuff too! I like the sunglasses because they have zombies in the eye part! The poses in this post are from Adorkable, and in my opinion are ADORABLE!

Definitely, a hot bikini and sold to you in a fun filled array of colors and flavors!
