This is UrbanizeD’s second year at the SL Home & Garden Expo. Creator, Pitsch Parx, is grateful to have the chance to be part of this great initiative.

UrbanizeD was created on Valentines Day 2009, on the Deizha estate. A spur of the moment decision of Pitschs’ to take his RL, creative background and unleash it on SL. What started out as rental homes, quickly changed into landscaping and designing furniture. To bring the rentals up to the standard Pitsch had in mind he has had to continually keep learning to create that what SL had not previously offered. This evolution continues still, to this day. Every collection shows progress on all sides of the process – textures, animations, and shapes.  Raising the bar is part of what UrbanizeD exceeds at. Twice a year an all new collection is used to display the creativity they want to share with the people of SL.

Next to landscaping, furniture, and home deco design, Pitsch has used his talents to design and build commercial sims such as SL House & Garden and Prim Perfects recently opened headquarters.  Lately, editing and photography have come into focus.  He goes for every chance he gets to hone his talents to bring his work to the attention of a wider audience.

UrbanizeD’s main mission is to mix urban elements with organic shapes and textures. Bringing life to minimal concepts with daring choices of color and textures. Thinking outside of the box comes natural to, Bruxelles based, Pitsch, a graduate of st Lukas college of art & design. He tries to capture the ever changing nature of SL by giving the people the option to adapt their living space according to their mood. As nothing is constant in SL, he feels this must be reflected in the work he puts out.

The urge to keep adapting translates throughout the entire brand. Their presence in SL is ever changing. Opening new stores and the constant updating of stores is part of that. “We want to keep the shopping experience interesting and experiment with shops to find new audiences.” Taking part in the SL house and garden expo is another great way of showing the world what UrbanizeD has to offer.

During last years expo, Pitsch noticed that while the wide variety of designers is the perfect way to display the diversity of the SL creative potential, it can also have a disorienting and distracting effect. To create a good canvas to portray the work of each individual designer he has approached a group of talented friends with the aim to achieve a visitor friendly presentation.

The collective will focus to create a sim centered around a park with a big lake. To work towards a uniform look They will be using the same trees and flowers all over the sim. This will carry the look of the park over into the individual plots of the various shops.
“We want the park to be an inviting place, a steppingstone to begin the exploration of the various displays“. This park-approach has the function to give the people a relaxing place to visit and is the perfect place to view samples of the work of the designers.

UribanizeD will be introducing a number of new items at this expo such as long enticipated baths, new vases and lounge sets to pick up on that summer feel. New textures, new shapes, new animations everything you can expect from UrbanizeD.
